Biography

Admitted to bar: 2001, Tennessee Born in Delaware, Ohio, Mr. Parker received a Bachelor of Arts (1992) from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana before obtaining his Juris Doctor (cum laude, 2001) from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. While a law student, Mr. Parker served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Memphis Law Review, was a finalist in the freshmen Moot Court competition, and received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence in ADR Mediation and Trial Advocacy. Mr. Parker also received awards for Best Brief, Best Oral Advocate and Best Memorandum. He is the author of Seavers v. Methodist Medical Center: Medical Experts May Testify to the "Fly Floating in the Buttermilk" as Part of a Res Ipsa Loquitur Instruction in Medical Malpractice Cases which was published in the Spring 2000 University of Memphis Law Review. Mr. Parker is a member of the American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations.
