Biography
Will Minkin joined the Law Offices of Peter G. Angelos in 1995 and has had the honor of seeking justice for injured individuals for nearly 30 years. He started his career representing victims of a for-profit chain of psychiatric hospitals and then spent several years litigating claims against the tobacco industry. He was part of the team that represented the State of Maryland and helped secure over $4,000,000,000 for the state. For the past 25 years, his practice has focused on representing individuals harmed by exposure to asbestos. Along with his colleagues at Peter Angelos Law, Will has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for the firm’s asbestos clients by obtaining multiple jury verdicts exceeding $15,000,000, as well as numerous seven-figure verdicts and countless multi-million-dollar pre-verdict settlements.
Will has successfully argued cases before the Supreme Court of Maryland and the Appellate Court of Maryland. Recently, Will has been part of a team of attorneys that represented military veterans injured by defective 3M Combat Arms earplugs, as well as veterans and family members who were exposed to toxic chemicals at Camp LeJeune in North Carolina.
Will was awarded an AV Preeminent peer rating by Martindale – the highest rating given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills and ethical standards by their peers.
Will is actively involved in his community. He is a past Chair of the Board of the Jewish Community Centers of Baltimore, a member of the Board of Directors of the Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, a member of the Board of the Macks Jewish Connection Network, past chair of Maryland Food Bank Lawyers’ Campaign Against Hunger, past board member of Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake and has won several awards and recognition for his service to the community.
