Biography
Jay is one of the principal owners of Peter Angelos Law. In addition, Jay has been a zealous courtroom advocate for his clients for nearly 40 years. He was managing partner of his own firm for years before joining Peter Angelos Law in 2010. Miller tried the largest consolidated jury trial ever held against a single cardiologist and successfully achieved in excess of 35 million dollars in compensation for the victims. His trial skills have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars being awarded to clients.
Miller is not limited to success in medical malpractice cases, but also has vigorously pursued cases against trucking companies and construction firms that have caused injury to people. He is one of the lead lawyers that worked to achieve success on behalf of hundreds of our US service men and women who were caused permanent ear damage after wearing 3M combat ear plugs. His work on behalf of our Veterans continues as he heads up the Camp Lejeune litigation at Peter Angelos Law. In addition to his courtroom skills, Miller's leadership has earned him roles on many different boards and committees including chairman of the Lawyer Assistance committee for ten years and the President of the Baltimore county Bar Association.
