Biography
Having joined Peter Angelos Law in 2020, Paul has become the primary responsible attorney for our mass tort asbestos Pennsylvania cases and is an advocate with expertise in helping clients who have been wrongfully injured from toxic asbestos exposure, supervising a staff which oversees the legal and administrative aspects of our Pennsylvania clients’ important personal injury matters. Paul handles client onboarding, intake, and litigation aspects including depositions and pre-trial motions and argument. Paul helps our clients uncover and track down the companies responsible for our clients’ injuries.
Delaney comes from a blue-collar, working-class family. Both of his grandfathers served in the Army during WWII and, upon returning, worked in the anthracite coal mines in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Delaney’s grandmother passed away from lung cancer during his childhood, after spending more than 15 years laundering his grandfather’s asbestos-laden work clothes. At the time, the dangers of asbestos and its link to mesothelioma and other aggressive lung cancers were not widely known, though today the causal connection is well-established. This personal experience has given Delaney a deep sense of empathy for his clients, and he considers it a privilege to help them share their stories.
Earlier in his career, Paul was a courtroom advocate for children in countless child and family protective services cases. A member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, with an emphasis in civil litigation, Delaney stays informed on the most recent legal developments in asbestos and toxic tort litigation. A trusted and experienced lawyer, Paul values his client relationships and handles the legal burden, so that our clients can concentrate on their own health and the wellbeing of their families.
