Serzone® is an SSRI drug that has been prescribed to treat depression, panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, and other conditions. It has been found to cause severe hepatic (liver) conditions and sometimes even death. It's also been found to be ineffective for about 40% of the people who take it to treat depression. This high incidence of injury has caused the FDA to require a Black Box warning on all Serzone labels. The Black Box is the FDA's highest level of alert and it is used to let patients and physicians know when serious side effects are associated with a particular drug.

If you or a loved one has taken Serzone and has suffered liver injury, necrosis, or liver failure, or if a loved one has died as a result of taking Serzone, contact us today. Our Serzone lawyers in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania will help you explore and understand your legal rights.
